I’m expecting an enthusiastic response from you all because this time, I’m crafting something truly different and unique. This post is your go-to guide for planning a delightful and coolest trip to Bali, Indonesia. Mainly, this is the ultimate treat for married couples and honeymooners. I’ll cover everything you need to know about in this honeymoon guide to Bali, which is nothing short of paradise on earth. There are two things travelers often say about Bali: ‘Bali is not for everyone,’ and ‘Bali is for everyone.’ Yes, I know it’s a bit controversial, but we’ll dive into that too. So, allow me to start by suggesting some grand places to make your honeymoon moments truly unforgettable.
1. Why Bali is the Perfect First Destination for Your Honeymoon:

So why Bali? That’s a reasonable question to ask before you pack your bags for the trip. Bali offers a perfect blend of romance and natural beauty, making it an ideal honeymoon destination. This breathtaking island in Indonesia is renowned for its stunning landscapes, luxurious accommodations, waterfalls, and beaches, all setting the perfect stage for romance. While there are many beautiful places in India like Goa and Manali in Himachal Pradesh, Bali has a pleasantly unique charm that you’ll discover throughout this post.
Every moment in Bali is filled with excitement and the desire to explore, creating lasting memories. Whether it’s Bali’s golden hour light, a romantic dinner on the beach, or a traditional blessing ceremony, these unique experiences will make your honeymoon truly unforgettable.
2. Best Time to Visit Bali:

Now before we move further and you pack your bags, let’s talk about best season and time to visit, because in this case when we are having only 5 days of honeymoon trip, you want to be sure you can make most of it. Bali has a two different seasons: dry season and wet season, let’s discuss this in a bit more deep;
Dry season:
Bali’s dry season lasts from April to September, offering generally good weather, though occasional rain showers can still occur. To avoid high tourist numbers and increased prices, it’s best to skip the peak months of July and August when kids in Europe and North America have their summer holidays. Instead, the shoulder months of May, June, and September are often the most enjoyable with fewer tourists and better prices.
Wet season:
The wet season runs from October to March. Mornings are usually dry, but afternoons and evenings can bring heavy rain, thunder, and lightning. Despite the unpredictable weather, Bali remains beautiful and enjoyable during this time. However, plans can sometimes be disrupted as the weather can change rapidly. In summary, while the dry season offers the best chance for good weather and fewer tourists outside of July and August, the wet season also has its charm despite the frequent afternoon showers.

Practical Tips For Your Trip to Bali

If you are regular reader here, then you might known that I usually give common tips you need to take care of and precautions you should follow like, tips related to trekking, ensure vehicle condition if planning a road trip, and etc. But Bali is something different there is nothing serious tips you need to follow. However there are some essential points which will make your travel hassle free if you are taking care of it. You need to pack some essential things apart from your bikini, flip flops, shorts and of course a well quality camera to capture your moments.
Here are some tips, be sure to put these things in your backpack or suitcase:
- Travel Adaptor: Bring a travel adaptor is life hack, because sometimes we don’t know what type of adaptor and plug our hotel has and that can be a problem if its not compatible to charge your phones and devices. In such case, taking a good and working travel adaptor is smart deal.
- Quick dry towel: Its not that you will not get a towel in hostels in Bali, but taking your personal towels on this trip will help you on beaches and if its quick dry one, that’s a great one then.
- Power bank: Damnn, you can’t forgot this mini device, you will need it so much because iPhones and Cameras has limited amount of battery backup. After a certain point of time, you will need charger point and I don’t want that you find your way back to your hotel for this. So carrying at least 2 Power banks or one with large capacity like 20000mAh will be a ideal.
- VPN: This is something that you don’t need to pack from your home, but I will highly recommend you to install a trusted and good VPN on your phone and laptops, before its not secured at to use public and resort’s Wi-Fi, sometimes it may lead you to serious problems. In such cases, having a VPN is lot safer, also its not only safer, sometimes you need to access selected websites for any reason ( for example: Instagram ) that sometimes might be restricted in state like Bali, so you require VPN to access those websites in such case.
